As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our operations team and are seeking a Head of Maintenance to oversee and coordinate all physical maintenance activities across our venues. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, solutions-driven professional to join a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality group.
The Role
The Head of Maintenance will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of all venues, ensuring facilities are fully operational, safe, and compliant. This includes managing day-to-day maintenance issues, coordinating with external contractors, and implementing systems to maintain high standards across the venues. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is key to maintaining the guest experience and supporting the smooth running of all locations.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Coordination & Support
Oversee all venue maintenance needs, both reactive and preventative.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from venue teams.
Diagnose, prioritise, and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
Maintain and update maintenance schedules and logs.
Project Management
Lead small-scale maintenance and refurbishment projects.
Coordinate and supervise external contractors and tradespeople.
Ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Asset & Inventory Management
Manage tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
Monitor condition of critical infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, kitchen equipment, lighting).
Liaise with suppliers for parts and service contracts.
Operational Support
Work closely with venue managers to support operational needs.
Provide guidance on maintenance best practices and equipment use.
Support the opening of new sites with fit-out and setup support.
Key Requirements & Skills
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or similar customer-facing environments.
Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
Experience managing contractors and maintenance projects.
Skills & Attributes
Hands-on and solutions-oriented.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Clear communicator with the ability to liaise confidently with venue teams and suppliers.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
