Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the reception and hosting function, ensuring smooth and seamless guest arrivals, seating, and departures.
• Act as the ambassador of the restaurant, greeting and engaging guests with warmth, professionalism, and charm.
• Manage seating allocations to maximise covers while maintaining a refined guest experience.
• Work closely with the management team to coordinate service flow and ensure exceptional communication between front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Recruit, train, and inspire the reception and host team, setting high standards for guest care and service delivery.
• Resolve guest concerns with confidence and discretion, always protecting the reputation of the restaurant.
• Uphold and enforce all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement, striving for excellence in every member and guest interaction.

Requirements/Skills:

• Proven experience as a Maitre’d, Reception Manager, or similar leadership role in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Impeccable personal presentation and communication skills.
