Accounts Assistant

Description

Third Space is a collection of luxury health clubs in London; individual in style, bound by a common philosophy: to provide outstanding fitness spaces that members feel are their own. Our people are the creators that bring the space to life.  We’re a team of motivators, inventors, and coaches; always striving to grow and evolve. It’s not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. We inspire our members to fulfil their lives and they rely on us…and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is our space.

With the opening of brand new, extraordinary clubs in inspiring locations across London, alongside the development and launch of brand new, market leading products and services, this is the time to come on board the Finance team at a company that genuinely strives to be the Best in Class. We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the finance team in providing financial information on all sites within the group, as well as the processing of payments.

Role responsibilities-

  • Ensure all purchase invoices are accurately processed, with PO’s raised for them, within the supplier terms.
  • Ensure all purchase invoices are posted to the correct general ledger/department/cost centre codes.
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Ensure all suppliers accounts are tidy and up to date and general maintenance of the Purchase Ledger.
  • Deal with any queries resolving or escalating where required.
  • Proactively make suggestions on ways to improve current processes or procedures.

We’re ideally looking for someone who has some work experience in a similar role and is looking for the next step in their finance career. With the support of the team, you will have access to ongoing learning and development. Third Space is a fast-paced and busy company and so you must be prepared to work in a deadline driven environment and recognise how performing well in your role will contribute to the overall success of the team and the business.

You will be able to organise your time effectively to deal with multiple priorities, complex information and be curious, with good analytical and problem solving skills. You will also be an excellent communicator and be able to build rapport with colleagues, suppliers and our members.

The ideal applicant will preferably have a GSCEs grade C or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent.  You will ideally have work experience in a busy finance role.

We are always looking at our benefits and have an excellent package available for the right person, including 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays), 2 complimentary group memberships to our best in class health clubs, discounts on our spa treatments and medical treatments, food and Personal Training. We will also offer study support in order to continue your own professional development.

Our company is driven by 4 Core Values – Reliable, Innovation, Expert and Passion and we will be keen to understand what these mean to you and how you live and breathe them in your work.
