We’re currently looking for an Area Facilities Manager to join our business as an integral part of the central team providing a first-class service to our Clubs. This is a crucial and high-profile role for our business. Reporting into the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for the condition and maintenance of our new and existing clubs, internally and externally, including all equipment, plant, materials, fixtures, fittings and finishes, and maintained to the highest standards at all times. The Facilities Manager will also ensure that sufficient processes are in place to actively manage all necessary reactive and planned repairs in an efficient and cost-effective way, as well as implementing all necessary health & safety requirements ensuring these are proactively managed.

You’ll oversee daily, reactive and planned maintenance in the club ensuring they are actioned accordingly. Routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and carrying out general repairs and upkeep of the facilities is essential at all times to ensure the condition of the clubs, internally and externally, including all equipment, plant, materials, fixtures, fittings and finishes are maintained to the highest standards at all time.

We are looking for an experienced an Area Facilities/Maintenance Manager who has previous experience of the following:

  • Previous experience of reactive and planned maintenance in a commercial property environment.
  • Planned & scheduled daily, weekly and monthly routine and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure fully operational facilities and high standards of finish and condition at all times
  • A sound understanding of: Electricity at Work and Health / Safety at Work regulations & best practice;
  • Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems – HVAC;
  • Computer literate, preferably with some experience of planned maintenance systems;
  • Proven practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance;
  • Proven practical experience and knowledge of electrical systems both single and three phase;
  • Experience of plant/mechanical and pools would be an advantage.
  • Working with external contractors/suppliers.

This role will require traveling to and from different sites across the group and mainly based in the Wimbledon site.
