Master Trainer - Reformer Pilates

Description

Third Space is a collection of luxury health clubs in London; individual in style, bound by a common philosophy: to provide outstanding fitness spaces that members feel are their own. Our people are the creators that bring the space to life.  We’re a team of motivators, inventors, and coaches; always striving to grow and evolve. It’s not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. We inspire our members to fulfil their lives and they rely on us…and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is our space.

With the opening of brand new, extraordinary clubs in inspiring locations across London, alongside the development of our digital offering, this is the time to join our world-class Group Exercise team at a fitness business that puts extraordinary group exercise experiences at the heart of everything it does. For the first time ever, we’re looking for a Master Trainer who will own, define and develop our Reformer Pilates concept, taking a lead on everything from Instructor recruitment and onboarding, training, delivering exceptional classes and product, as well as development and creation.

This is an employed role and will be 16 hours per week of concept and instructor management, plus a minimum of 8 classes, starting at our soon-to-be opened club at Wimbledon.

We expect you to bring your knowledge and expertise as a Reformer Pilates teacher and trainer coupled with infectious energy and enthusiasm as a specialist in this area.. In return, we will support your well-being and professional development. We provide varied learning and training opportunities within a fun and friendly environment.

We will expect you to take care to focus on the detail, with careful practice and preparation to deliver the perfect experience for our members every time.

We truly believe that we are making a difference to the lives of our members and we place them at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and manage Reformer Pilates proposition and programme across the estate, including recruitment, on-boarding, retention, development and audit of instructors
  • Run talent searches regularly (internally and externally), offer and provide developmental feedback to instructors ensuring there are enough instructors of a high standard to deliver classes
  • Create training materials and programming, and deliver training to instructors
  • Create and update as needed a SOP for reformer studios
  • Working closely with the Marketing and PR team to promote the Third Space programme and product
  • Monitoring performance of the programme alongside the Head of Group Exercise
  • Place the member experience and club NPS score at the heart of every decision

The successful applicant will be trained in the full cycle and a highly experienced, dedicated and passionate group exercise enthusiast, who has the skills to coach, develop and inspire a large, diverse group of people in the various departments across our entire estate. You’ll be able to talk to us more about how you have built a community of fans who love your teaching style and you’ll also be able to demonstrate how you have coached others to build their own fitness community. You’ll also be as confident delivering training and workshops in a classroom environment as you are in the studio and you’ll be able to tailor your approach to different audiences. You’ll be highly organised and manage your time effectively to audit and provide quality and constructive feedback sessions to our instructor population. Alongside this, you will also be in tune with Reformer Pilates offering across London.

In addition to working within an exceptional Master Trainer team and contributing to the success of our world class Group Exercise programme, we have a number of excellent benefits to reward you for your hard work. You and a friend or family member will be given a complimentary Group membership which will give you access to all of our clubs and we will actively encourage you to use your additional benefits which include discounted rates across our Spa, Medical, Nutrition and Hospitality brands to ensure that your health and wellbeing stays central to everything that we do.

If you’re interested in joining a luxury, entrepreneurial and people centric business and keen to understand the workings of a high performing Master Trainer team, this could be the opportunity for you.
