A Colleague Forum Representative at Lamington Group will serve as a key liaison between the colleagues, management and the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring clear, transparent and open communication across Lamington Group.
The representative will be responsible for actively participating in forum meetings, raising colleague concerns, suggesting improvements and providing constructive feedback to help shape a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Active Participation
Attend all Colleague Forum Group meetings, contributing to discussions and representing the views of your colleagues.
Actively listen to and gather colleague feedback on key workplace issues, including key workplace issues, including policies, practices, processes, and workplace environment.
Colleague Representation
Represent the interests and concerns of colleagues in a professional, respectful manner.
Act as the voice for colleagues, ensuring their feedback is accurately conveyed.
Ensure that the opinions of all colleagues, across departments, are fairly represented.
Communication & Feedback
Share key forum discussions and outcomes with your department or team after each meeting.
Ensure transparent communication regarding discussions made or actions taken as a result of forum feedback.
Foster a two-way communication channel between colleagues and management, keeping colleagues informed of important updates or initiatives discussed at the forum.
Problem Solving & Solution Orientated Thinking
Identify common issues or recurring themes raised by colleagues and work with the forum and management to find actionable solutions.
Collaborate with fellow forum representatives to propose practical improvements or changes to benefit Lamington Group.
Engagement & Advocacy
Encourage colleagues to engage with the forum, raising any concerns, ideas, or feedback they may have.
Promote the value and purpose of the Colleague Forum to your peers, encouraging full participation and openness to discussions.
Confidentiality & Professionalism
Handle all sensitive information shared during forum discussions with confidentiality and discretion.
Adhere to the forum's ethical guidelines, ensuring respectful behaviour during all communications.
Reporting & Documentation
Document the key outcomes, action items, and feedback from each meeting and share it as necessary.
Provide regular updates to you team or department, ensuring alignment and transparency regarding forum initiatives and outcomes.
This role is voluntary and additional responsibility alongside regular job duties, There is expected attendance monthly to Colleague Forum meetings which may be held virtually or in person. Meetings may occasionally require after-hours or flexible scheduling.
