We're a family-run business passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, fostering a dynamic and sustainable workplace, and giving back to our local and global communities.

With our award-winning, world-first net-zero carbon hometel concept, room2, we're on a mission to launch 5,000 beautifully designed net-zero rooms by 2030 and are at the forefront of sustainable innovation in the hospitality and real estate sectors.

Your Mission
As a catalyst for change, you'll identify inefficiencies and develop technology-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, elevate guest experiences, and champion our sustainability goals. This pivotal role blends strategic analysis, problem-solving, solution design, and hands-on implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision: Analyse existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement strategic technology solutions.

  • Software Engineering & Custom Tools: Develop and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and APIs. Design custom scripts and applications, and provide website support.

  • Automation & AI Enablement: Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities, integrate AI tools, and serve as the internal expert on automation and AI advancements.

Your Experience
Essential:

  • Proven experience in strategic technology implementation and problem-solving

  • Extensive experience with automation tools

  • Successful project management of software development and builds

  • Working knowledge of modern AI tools and integration

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Proactive, self-starting mindset with strong collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in scripting languages

  • Experience with coding

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Genuine passion for technology and positive impact

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with CRM, booking engines, or hospitality software

  • Experience with Webflow, WordPress, or CMS platforms

  • Background in sustainable businesses

What’s in it for you?
  • 1 free night stay at any of our properties per year, with a generous employee discount thereafter

  • Competitive salary and discretionary bonus scheme

  • Pension scheme

  • Loyalty rewards and referral bonuses

  • Company sick pay scheme

  • 2 paid volunteer days per year and annual fundraisers for charities aligned to our core pillars

  • Additional annual leave with length of service

  • Cycle to work scheme and use of gym facilities in our hotels

  • Access to activity workshops and an Employee Assistance Programme

  • Regular social activities including monthly engagement activities

  • Personal development programmes and opportunities to grow
