A cafe/cocktail concept is seeking an all around kitchen person. You will be part of small staff where everyone will be expected to pitch in where/whenever necessary. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn new techniques. You will be working with high quality ingredients in an open kitchen with direct access to guests so the ability to work clean is essential. Please be someone who has a cooperative spirit with the ability to work well with others.

What you can expect from working with us:

-honest and communicative work environment
-supportive ownership and management
-your opinions and ideas will be genuinely considered and implemented if it makes sense

What we would expect from you:

-at least one year of kitchen or prep experience
-can work with a meat slicer
-able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and FOH staff
-set up workstation in a timely manner to ensure prompt opening of the store (also breakdown and clean-up)
-practice proper food rotation and sanitation practices
-resourceful, clean & organized working habits with attention to detail
-prep ingredients and recipes
-able to maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
-coordinate and assist fellow employees in support the operation of the business
-full or part time with weekend availability
