• Follow daily prep lists created by chefs
• Wash, chop, portion, and prepare ingredients for service
• Measure ingredients and seasonings accurately
• Assist with basic cooking tasks including sauces, par-cooking, and simple dishes
• Label, organize, and stock ingredients properly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen
• Store food items properly and follow FIFO procedures
• Support the culinary team with additional kitchen duties as needed
• Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety standards

• Previous prep cook experience preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
• Comfortable using knives, kitchen tools, and equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a busy kitchen environment
• Culinary school training is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Food Handler card
