THE NICI, a destination hotel in Bournemouth, continues to grow at pace and is looking for fresh, exceptional talent to join its growing team.
Since its launch in summer 2022, THE NICI is already being recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting new hotel concepts, with accolades including The Times Top 100 Places to Stay - ‘Best Seaside Hotel for 2023’.
Set on an enviable spot on the South Coast, with £20m investment so far, THE NICI has transformed Bournemouth’s accommodation landscape with 91 luxury bedrooms, many with spectacular sea views, garden hot tub suites, buzzing South Beach Restaurant & Bar, outdoor terrace and indoor cinema, as well as inspiring meeting and events spaces.

The role:
** Please be aware for insurance purposes, we are only able to employ candidates with a full clean driving license who are over the age of 25 **
We have a superb opportunity for a Porter who will support the reception team with the arrival and departure of our guests.
You are the welcoming face of THE NICI, more often than not the first and last impression. From greeting out guests, efficiently delivering them and their luggage to their room and overseeing the efficient running of our valet parking service.
You will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, take pride in your appearance with a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to work and a passion for customer service excellence.
You will be responsible for greeting the guests at our carpark and parking their vehicle for them, therefor confidence in driving is essential.
You will be able to help our guests with your expert knowledge of the hotel services, local areas and surroundings.
Aspects of this job involve carrying luggage therefore physical fitness is essential.
Previous experience of working in a hotel environment is desirable although not essential as full training will be given.
