Description
Think beach club buzz meets spa-resort luxury. The NICI Bournemouth is searching for standout hospitality talent to join one of the UK’s most talked-about hotels.
Launched in 2022 to instant acclaim, The NICI has swept up accolades - including The Times “Top 100 Places to Stay, Best Seaside Hotel” - and continues to shine for its bold design and exceptional guest experience.
Set high on the South Coast with over £20m invested, The NICI has redefined Bournemouth’s hotel scene with 92 stylish bedrooms, the vibrant South Beach Restaurant & Bar, an indoor cinema, and sleek event spaces.

The Role..
As our Reception Manager, you’ll lead the front-of-house team to deliver effortless, memorable service from the moment guests arrive to the time they say goodbye. You’ll oversee daily operations, train and inspire your team, manage guest queries with confidence, and ensure our service reflects the unique spirit of The Nici.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support our reception team to deliver outstanding guest service
- Oversee check-in, check-out, billing, and reservations coordination
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and ease
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service in the lobby and reception area
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Drive performance, implement SOPs, and uphold brand standards
- Support training, scheduling, and team development
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hotel front office management or supervisory roles
- A natural people leader with excellent communication skills
- Calm, organised, and solutions-focused
- Confident using hotel PMS systems
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Experience in luxury or boutique hotels (advantageous)
