Employed Personal Trainer – 2 Days per Week

Set on the iconic West Cliff overlooking the sea, THE NICI Bournemouth is one of the South Coast’s most exciting luxury lifestyle destinations. Combining Miami-inspired design with relaxed coastal elegance, the hotel offers guests and members a premium experience across its spa, outdoor heated pool, modern gym, and wellness spaces.

At the heart of THE NICI is a strong focus on health, fitness, and community. Our exclusive members’ club continues to grow, and we are now looking for passionate and driven Personal Trainers to join our team.

The role.

This role is ideal for a reliable and enthusiastic PT looking to work within a premium hospitality and fitness setting, playing a key part in the member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver a variety of group fitness classes to suit different abilities
  • Carry out professional, informative, and welcoming inductions for new members
  • Act as a key point of contact on shift, ensuring all members feel supported and engaged
  • Proactively interact with members on the gym floor, offering guidance, motivation, and basic coaching
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the gym and studio areas
  • Support the wider leisure and spa team to create a seamless luxury experience
  • Assist with member retention by building rapport and encouraging ongoing participation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Personal Training qualification (essential)
  • Confident in leading group exercise classes
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to go beyond basic duties to enhance member experience
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Availability to work set days, including potential weekends
