What began with THE NICI Bournemouth, our flagship hotel inspired by Miami's South Beach, has grown into an exciting collection of destination-led properties. In June 2026, the collection expanded with the opening of THE NICI Newquay, inspired by Italy's Amalfi Coast, and THE NICI New Forest, inspired by the luxury and charm of the Hamptons.

This marks an exciting new chapter for THE NICI Collection — and it's only the beginning. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team based in Bournemouth.

We are looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

Working closely with the Finance Director and operational teams, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide valuable commercial insight to help drive business performance.

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and oversee cash flow management.

• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and external audits.

• Work closely with operational managers to provide financial analysis and guidance.

• Assist with payroll, VAT returns, and statutory reporting where required.

• Drive continuous improvements to finance processes and reporting.

• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent preferred).

• Strong analytical and commercial skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience within hospitality or multi-site businesses is advantageous.

• Able to build strong relationships across departments.
