Talo is the up-and-coming leader of the fast casual restaurant space who is famous for being 100% seed oil free, using no plastics in our kitchen, serving meat that is 100% grass-fed or pasture raised, and going to lengths to ensure the experience we serve to our customers is healthy, non-toxic, and memorable. We are looking for a passionate and driven person to join our team and help make Talo a success in our first full-scale location.

Operate the fryer station – fry and prepare fries and chips
Follow all cooking procedures – ensure consistency, flavor, and portion control
Maintain a clean and organized fryer station – practice food safety and cleanliness
Monitor fryer oil levels – keep track of oil temperature and freshness
Master the grill – cook proteins like steak, chicken, and barbacoa with accuracy
Ensure consistency – follow recipes and portion standards for every dish
Maintain a clean and organized grill station – food safety is non-negotiable
Prep fresh ingredients daily, including vegetables, toppings, and proteins
Batch and mix house-made sauces to our exact recipes
Follow food safety standards – ensure every ingredient is fresh and high quality
Maintain a clean and organized workspace – smooth service starts with great prep
Monitor inventory and prep levels – ensure we’re always stocked and ready
Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen – support other team members as needed
Be a team player – communicate and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Stay adaptable – step into other stations when needed to support service
Take pride in every dish – deliver quality, consistency, and care in every step

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to bend and reach overhead often
Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment
Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
Must be comfortable working near open flames
May be required to work in tight spaces
Must maintain near constant communication with multiple people
Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision are required
Must be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally
Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
May be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions
May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
