Description
Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Friendly and professional greeting of all guests, ensuring a positive first impression. 
  • Managing Reservations: Checking guest names against reservations lists and seating them appropriately. 
  • Ensuring a Smooth Entry: Assisting guests with any needs upon arrival, such as directing them to their table or finding a coat check. 
  • Maintaining a Welcoming Atmosphere: Creating a positive and inviting environment for guests. 
  • Scanning Tickets/Verifying Guest Lists: Checking tickets or guest lists to ensure proper entry. 
  • Assisting with Other Tasks: May be required to assist with other tasks as needed, such as answering phones or taking coat checks. 
  • Working with Other Staff: Collaborating with other hospitality staff, such as servers or bartenders, to ensure a smooth operation. 
  • Knowledge of the Venue: Being knowledgeable about the venue, including menus, events, and amenities. 
  • Up-selling: In some cases, Door Hosts may be expected to up-sell or promote special events or amenities. 
  • Handling Guest Queries: Responding to guest queries or complaints professionally and efficiently. 
  • Maintaining a Professional Appearance: Maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
