The Role:
As a Duty Manager, you will support the General Manager and management team in the smooth running of the restaurant during your shifts. You’ll be a visible and active presence on the floor, leading by example, supporting the team, resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring service standards remain consistently high.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Leadership: Oversee restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service and staff coordination.

  • Customer Experience: Deliver excellent guest service, handle any complaints or concerns professionally, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Team Support: Supervise and motivate front and back-of-house staff, ensuring everyone is working efficiently and collaboratively.

  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

  • Cash Handling & Reporting: Manage end-of-day procedures, including cashing up and daily reporting tasks.

  • Operational Support: Assist with stock control, deliveries, and general organisation to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

  • Experience in a supervisory or junior management role in hospitality

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • A customer-first mindset with great problem-solving abilities

  • Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure

  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
