Job role responsibilities:

  • To be able to greet guests and carry luggage to and from their room.

  • Showing guests to their room and explaining the hotel facilities.

  • Taking and delivering messages to guests.

  • Looking after keys, left luggage and lost property.

  • Answering guests’ questions about the hotel and local points of interest.

  • Arranging transport and making restaurant and bookings for guests, as required.

  • Keeping the lobby and reception area tidy.

  • Movement of hotel laundry, clean and dirty.

  • Moving furniture and setting up rooms for conferences and events.

  • Moving of deliveries to the hotel to the correct departments.

  • Serving of food and beverage to guest in the lounge, bar or restaurant area as required.

Requirements:

None, however, preferably someone who is over 18 years old to be able to pour and serve alcohol.
