Supervisor

Description

About The Candidate

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Bar Supervisor, or Senior Bartender wanting to step up, to join our friendly team at Two Floors, Soho.

A passion for drinks is important as you will be selling cocktails and a vast range of spirits, wines and craft beers.

Prior experience is required, and the right personality goes a long way too!

About The Role

Our Supervisors are part of our management team so you will;

- act as duty manager in the absence of the GM and AGM
- recognise the importance of ambience and ‘customer experience’ in venues
- support team members to provide great customer service
- open and close the bar ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- ensure stock levels are maintained behind the bar
- cash up
- be good at reacting to issues that may occur across the business
- report any concerns to the AGM or GM in a timely manner

You will be fully supported by your team and have access to industry recognised training. So if you would like to further your career in hospitality, Barworks is the group for you.

We are an award-winning company, with fantastic opportunities for development. Our ethos is and always has been to develop from within.

Benefits

- access to hundreds or perks & discounts such as discounted gym membership
- Discounts on everyday expenses such as travel, shopping, restaurants
- 28 days holiday
- Free meals at work
- 40% food and drink in all of our 18 bars and restaurants across London
- opportunities for trips across the UK and abroad
- industry recognised training
- computer / technology purchase scheme
- bike purchase scheme

Please apply by attaching your most recent CV as a Microsoft Word document or PDF.

You must be fluent in written and spoken English and full eligibility to work in the UK is required.

About Barworks

We understand that every single person working with us is key to our success. We do our best to create jobs and working environments that provide enjoyment and challenges while offering opportunities for growth.

We have clear career paths so we can offer everyone the opportunity to develop with us. We also have flexible hours to enable you to keep and maintain those other interests that make you who you are.

All of our Senior Managers have climbed the career ladder from within the company, starting from our bars or our kitchens.

If you are motivated and hard-working, there is no limit to where you can go with us. We are expanding and aim to fill all future management positions as we grow, from within.

We aim to create modern interpretations on hospitality, unique to environments and settings, but maintaining the key components of what a venue should be: a relaxing, welcoming hub for the local community as well as those visiting the area. A destination as well as a home from home. We take great pride in what we offer to our customers. With attention to every detail of the customer experience, not just the food and drink, but the lighting, music, atmosphere and environment. We are not tied to a set formula for each site, allowing us to push forward and constantly improve our offer. This approach has provided us with a unique collection of venues, rather than a formulaic group.

So if you want to work with a group as independent and unique as you are, get in touch today!

About the Location

We are the first pub in the Barworks collective located in the heart of London (Carnaby St). Plenty of artwork from local, talented artists decorates our walls. Downstairs our tiki bar has a lot to offer, including a vast range of rum.

We get a lot of workers coming in during their lunch break for a quick pint before going back to the office. The after-work crowd is always lively but responsible.

We are very close as a team. There aren’t many of us, so everyone puts in the effort to get to know each other and have fun on shift.

We offer a very flexible rota with most people doing 30 hours a week.

Full in-house training is always available in addition to partnership courses like ELLC Whiskey Master Class.
