Description

ULG
is a collective of 9 venues across London, each with its own unique personality. We are a young, diverse group, dedicated to creating great neighbourhood spaces and supporting our people, our community, and our world. We offer a great place to work with opportunities for all to grow in a culture based on kindness, quality, simplicity, and loving what you do.

We're looking for an ambitious, dedicated and friendly Junior Sous Chef to join the team  at our newly re-opened venue, ASK FOR JANICE, located in Tileyard, Kings Cross. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front of house teams to deliver smooth, enjoyable services and be committed to producing the best standard of dishes possible to our guests, every time.

About you:

  • Experienced in hospitality, specifically in the kitchen at Chef de Partie level or above
  • Interested in the London food and drink scene, music, art, and people
  • Flexible and dynamic - just as comfortable prepping for a large event as your are running the passe on a busy breakfast service
  • Naturally warm and personable

What you can look forward to when you join ULG:

  • A competitive package made up of base rate & service charge
  • Team Member referral bonus of up to £1000
  • Membership of Hospitality Rewards with access to hundreds of perks and discounts, along with wellbeing support & GP access
  • 35% off food and drink in ULG venues for you and up to 2 guests
  • Cost price wine through our fabulous suppliers
  • Workplace Nursery Benefits Scheme
  • Personalised training at every stage of your career
  • Supplier visits and masterclasses - think breweries, wineries, butchery & farms
  • Summer & Christmas parties every year
  • A £75 ULG tab on your birthday for you and a guest (for use within 2 weeks of your birthday)
  • Charity opportunities
  • Come as you are - be part of a creative, diverse, and inclusive culture
