We’re on the lookout for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our vibrant head office team at Urban Pubs and Bars. This is a rare opportunity to learn and grow under the mentorship of our Head of FP&A in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Report & Analyse: Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports and KPIs, highlighting key performance trends that drive our success.
• Budgeting & Planning: Play a crucial role in the annual planning and budgeting process, linking operations with site sales, labour, and cost budgets.
• Capital Expenditure Reporting: Get involved in the exciting world of new site acquisitions and refurbishments, providing insightful post-investment appraisals. 
• Support Operations: Collaborate with Operations Managers to deliver insightful KPI reports that empower decision-making. 
• Team Collaboration: Assist the CFO and Head of FP&A with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects as needed. 

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong academic background with excellent A-level or university results. 
• Advanced Excel skills are a must! 
• Experience with data warehouse reporting and accounting software is a plus. 
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to thrive under pressure. 
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to non-financial team members. 
• A team player who brings personality and enthusiasm to our fun and friendly environment. 
• A proactive mindset focused on identifying and implementing improvements. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Accountancy or Finance (preferred). 
• Previous experience in an FP&A role is a plus, especially with operational teams. 
• Experience in the hospitality or leisure industry would be beneficial.
