Kitchen Porter – Urban Reef

Location: Urban Reef, Bournemouth
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Schedule: Daytime, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and help maintain the high standards required across our busy operation.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an important part of the kitchen team, helping to keep the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently throughout service.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role and would suit someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys being part of a busy team.

• Operating the dishwasher and pot-wash areas throughout service
• Washing and organising plates, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen
• Keeping floors, work areas, storage areas and equipment clean and organised
• Emptying bins and correctly managing general waste, recycling and food waste
• Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away correctly
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
• Keeping chef stations supplied with clean equipment during busy services
• Completing daily and scheduled kitchen cleaning tasks
• Assisting with kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Following all food hygiene, health & safety and COSHH procedures
• Reporting maintenance, equipment or food-safety concerns promptly
• Supporting the wider kitchen team wherever required
