Shift Leader (In-Training) - New Location in CODY, WY!
TRAVEL TO BILLINGS, MT FOR TRAINING REQUIRED!
We are gearing up for the grand opening of our new location in CODY, WY!
We are looking for motivated and experienced Shift Leaders to join our team!
What to Expect:
Before our Cody opening, all training will take place at our partner locations in Billings, Montana, approximately a 1-hour and 40-minute commute from Cody. Company-paid accommodations will be provided while you’re staying in Billings for training, as well as mileage reimbursement.
This is a hands-on opportunity to grow into a leadership role with full support, while learning the ins and outs of our daily operations in high-performing locations.
$18.50 Per Hour GUARANTEED (Includes Tips)

Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old (Meat Slicer Operation)
Valid Driver’s license
Must complete and obtain company-paid ServSafe Managers Certification within 30 days of hire.
Reliable Transportation
Familiar with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Excellent verbal, written, and communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Physical: Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed.
The position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire day. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
Must enjoy bantering and interacting with others
Must demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and integrity
Must demonstrate solid leadership characteristics
1 Year (Preferred) high-volume restaurant supervisory experience, including some experience in a quick service or fast casual dining environment.
A Shift Leader is responsible for supporting the management team in the execution of running their assigned location. This includes, but is not limited to:
Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service;
Producing high-quality food;
Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience;
Cash handling;
Following the Learning Management System Training Program.
Developing others for career growth;
Enforcing policies and procedures;
Participating in local and national marketing initiatives;
Building sales;
Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment.
Being certified in all four positions of the restaurant.
Effective communication;
Having a sense of urgency
Additional Job Requirements:
Move or Transport up to 50lbs without assistance unless a medical notation is made, whereas any physical disabilities are covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act or a temporary doctor's note with a time frame for the restriction on your ability;
Work 38-40 hours per week;
Communicate with the GM/AGM/DM about any issues they are having;
Lead by example in terms of the quality of the food they make, the way they interact and provide customer service, and coming to work in a clean, fitted, and pressed uniform daily.
Create food consistent with Jersey Mike’s high-quality standards.
Maintain a restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others.
Work in a fast-paced team-driven atmosphere.
Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience
Full understanding of the terms’ accountability and integrity
Key Holder
Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store.
Knows how to bake bread and perform all prep
Manage and lead a crew of 2 to 5 people.
Proficient in slicing
