Position Overview:
We are looking for an organized and customer-focused To-Go Specialist to join our team. As the face of our takeout operations, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to guests ordering food to-go. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to communicate effectively will ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our takeout customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Experience:

    • Greet guests warmly and professionally, whether they arrive in person or call to place an order.

    • Assist customers with placing their orders, answering questions about the menu, and accommodating special requests.

    • Ensure all to-go orders are accurate, complete, and packaged correctly before handing them to guests.

  2. Order Management:

    • Handle to-go orders efficiently, including phone, online, and third-party delivery platform orders.

    • Monitor and prioritize orders to meet pickup and delivery times.

    • Communicate with the kitchen staff to confirm order readiness and resolve any discrepancies.

  3. Cash Handling and Payments:

    • Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and digital payments.

    • Handle refunds, exchanges, and discounts per company policy.

  4. Packaging and Presentation:

    • Ensure all food and beverages are packaged securely and maintain a high standard of presentation.

    • Include necessary condiments, utensils, napkins, and other items to enhance the guest’s experience.

  5. Problem Resolution:

    • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to a manager when necessary.

    • Work proactively to resolve any order errors or delays to maintain guest satisfaction.

  6. Team Collaboration:

    • Communicate effectively with the host, kitchen, and service teams to ensure smooth to-go operations.

    • Assist in restocking supplies, organizing the to-go area, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, cashier, or food service role is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

  • Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

  • Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
