Named after one of the brightest stars in the universe, VEGA is a stellar addition to Glasgow's brilliant bar scene, shining brightly both by day and night. An out of this world' elevator transports you to the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow for a fun and fabulous fix of cheeky cocktails and big flavour food. 

By night switch it up a notch or two and escape from the everyday with great music, DJ’s, bowling and live entertainment. 

We are looking for a Head Chef to join our team. We are looking for someone who loves to deliver larger than life succulent food that brightens up our guests taste buds. Working with the Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations including-

  • Coaching and developing the kitchen team
  • Support the effective completion of all health and safety regulations including HACCP, COSHH and all other due diligence.  
  • Assisting the management team in working toward financial targets
  • Developing new dishes and menu's
  • Managing the inventory and ordering stock as needed including monthly stock takes
