Description
Vida Verde is a fast paced, high volume Mexican inspired cocktail and restaurant located in Midtown West. We are currently seeking an experienced Barback with proven previous experience in a high volume program. The ideal candidate should have a strong willing to learn and take ownership of your station.

Vida's concept require's a candidate who is passionate about the service industry, energetic with an outgoing personality to enable a seamless integration into our existing team. Candidates must be self starter's and willing to develop their knowledge continually on our F&B program and customer relations.

The successful candidate will enter an enthusiastic team of experimental bartender's and servers and be given the chance to put forward their concept's and idea's for future menu revisions.

Responsibilities:

− To be fully accountable for the people, product and profit within the Venue .
− To deliver excellence in customer service, remember that service matters most.
− Set up and break down the bar area.
− Ensure that bar is stocked to par levels.
− Keep bar area free of trash.
− Ensure standardization and consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality.
− Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment, including, but not limited to, the cleaning and polishing of glassware.
− Ensure all juices, fruit and purees are at par levels, and rotates all juices, fruit and purees according to born on dates, on a daily basis.
− Develop relationships with guests in order to provide personalized service.
− Maintain effective communication with Bartenders before, after and during service.
− Maintain stock of all inventory, glassware, ice, paper needs and garnishes, etc., in the bar area.
− Develop relationships with potential guests in an effort to increase sales.
− Ensure the order and cleanliness of the bar is in accordance to health and safety regulations.
− Ensure that company reporting systems are adhered to.
− Ensure establishment policies, standards and local laws are followed.
− Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of employees, guests and property. Responds swiftly and effectively in any emergency of safety situations.
− Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures at all levels.
− All other responsibilities assigned by Management.

− Has an upbeat, energetic, authentic and professional attitude at all times.
− Knows how to participate in a team environment and assist other departments when needed.
