The Role Outline: The Sheffield Masterplan Launching a massive new hotel takes a village. Right now, one of our brilliant existing Managers is laying the groundwork, building the initial teams, and getting ready to open the doors in February. But very soon, they will be handing the keys over and heading back to their home hotel. We are looking for a General Manager to take the baton, step into this freshly launched property, and drive it to absolute commercial and cultural dominance.

Your Remit: What You Will Actually Be Doing We do not want a GM who hides in a back office looking at spreadsheets all day. We want a visible, dynamic leader. We trust you to handle:

• The Commercial Drive: Owning the P&L. You will deliver the group strategy, smash your budgeted EBITDA and Revenue targets, flex payroll intelligently, and drive serious on site sales across every single department.

• The Cultural Leadership: Building the pipeline. You will create an intensely engaged, highly motivated team. You aren't just managing; you are mentoring, with a personal passion for developing your Heads of Department and internally promoting your superstars.

• The Brand Excellence: Setting the standard. You will champion our brand standards relentlessly, maintaining an intensity around excellence that drives your Review Pro scores, Health & Safety audits, and financial compliance over the 85% mark.

• The Local Network: Putting us on the map. You will network the Sheffield community brilliantly, building close relationships with local businesses to ensure our Pub & Grill, V Works, and Leisure Club become the ultimate local hotspots.

How We Succeed Together We do not micromanage. It takes a village, so we believe in Ownership & Integrity, giving you the absolute freedom to design your local strategy and run your hotel. You will have robust support from your Regional Director, but we hire experts so we can get out of their way. We champion teamwork, hate corporate red tape, and desperately want you to succeed.
