Reporting To: Brand Distribution and Commercial Support Manager

Key Stakeholders: Revenue Director, Group Sales Director, Marketing Director, wider sales teams.

Job Purpose: The Distribution Support Executive plays a vital role in optimising Village Hotels' online presence and driving direct bookings across our portfolio of hotels. Working closely with the Brand Distribution and Commercial Support Manager, this role will be instrumental in managing distribution channels, ensuring data accuracy, and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Channel Management:

    • Assist in the day-to-day management and optimisation of all online distribution channels, including the Village Hotels website, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), GDS (Global Distribution Systems), and meta-search engines.

    • Ensure rate parity and availability across all channels.

    • Monitor and update content (descriptions, images, amenities) to maintain consistency and accuracy across all platforms.

    • Identify and evaluate new distribution opportunities to expand reach.


    Onboarding and Compliance

    • Assist in onboarding new partners and suppliers.

    • Play a key role in onboarding new properties.

    • Help set up and maintain user access across platforms in line with company policy.


  • System Administration & Data Integrity:

    • Maintain accurate inventory and pricing within the Central Reservation System (CRS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).

    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

    • Generate and analyse reports on distribution performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

    • Preferred: Working knowledge of Amadeus iHotelier CRS and Stayntouch PMS for efficient system navigation and troubleshooting.


  • Revenue Optimisation Support:

    • Assist in the implementation of distribution strategies to maximise revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR).

    • Support the Distribution and Commercial Support Manager in analysing market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.

    • Identify opportunities for promotional campaigns and special offers to drive direct bookings.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Liaise effectively with hotel-level teams, including Revenue Managers and Front Office, to ensure smooth communication and implementation of distribution strategies.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align distribution efforts with broader marketing campaigns.


  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Assist in preparing regular performance reports for the Distribution and Commercial Support Manager, highlighting key metrics, successes, and challenges.

    • Contribute to post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies.


  • Training & Support:

    • Provide support and guidance to hotel teams on distribution-related queries and system usage.

    • Assist in the development of training materials for new processes or system updates.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably with a focus on distribution or reservations at a mid-senior level

  • A solutions-based mindset for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

  • Strong understanding of online distribution channels and their impact on hotel revenue.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.

  • Proficient in using reservation, channel manager and property management systems.

  • Highly Preferred: Practical experience with Amadeus iHotelier and Stayntouch PMS.

  • Proficiency in google, especially sheets

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
