As our Recruitment Manager, you'll be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, from designing innovative strategies to managing the entire hiring process. This is a hybrid role with national travel, when required, reporting to the Head of Learning & Development. You'll be a key player in our People & Development team, helping to shape our company culture and contribute to our continued success.
Working closely with Hotel General Managers and Department Heads, you'll strategically attract and acquire top talent for our growing portfolio of hotels across the UK. You'll partner with key stakeholders to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance and solutions for people-related challenges, helping to enhance HR processes and policies. You will be a key player in strengthening our employer brand within the hospitality sector to position Village Hotels as an employer of choice.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to the unique needs of each hotel and role.
Proactively explore and identify innovative sourcing methods to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
Collaborate closely with Hotel General Managers and Department Heads to understand their staffing needs and build strong relationships.
Strengthen our employer brand within the hospitality sector to position Village Hotels as an employer of choice.
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
Track and analyse key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide reports to senior management.
Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to relevant employment laws and promote best practices in diversity and inclusion.
Proven national experience (2+ years) in a recruitment role, with a significant focus on the hotel or hospitality industry.
Demonstrable success in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that deliver high-quality hires.
Exceptional sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills, with experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
A passion for the hospitality industry and understanding its unique challenges and opportunities.
A CIPD qualification and experience with mergers and acquisitions are desirable but not essential.
