The Role Outline: Your Week at a Glance
As our Regional People Partner covering the Midlands and the M4 Corridor, you are the commercial and cultural anchor for 10 hotels and over 1,200 employees.
This is a true hybrid role requiring you to manage complex Employee Relations while regularly visiting your sites, building face-to-face trust with your General Managers, and managing periodic overnight stays. We are not looking for someone to simply police HR policy from afar. We need a highly visible, genuinely positive coach who brings natural warmth, empathy, and strong drive to the region. We want you to build absolute trust, drive real engagement, challenge operational assumptions constructively, and implement commercial change that actually sticks.
Our People Team is built on incredibly strong foundations—a highly collaborative and deeply experienced group, supportively connected across the UK.
Why Village?
At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers.
We are completely open-minded about your background. Hospitality experience is a great bonus, but if you have a strong background in Learning & Development, Leisure, or Teaching, we absolutely want to talk to you. If you are friendly, positive, love working with people, and have a natural ability to instantly lift a room, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need. Because it really does take a Village.
How the Village Thrives
We live our culture through three simple commitments:
Your Territory: What You Will Actually Be Doing
As our Regional People Partner, you are the engine of our people strategy. We trust you to handle:
How We Succeed Together
We do not micromanage. It takes a village, so we believe in Ownership & Integrity, giving you the autonomy to handle your region and make decisions on the fly. We Empower & Elevate our people. Crucially, this role offers real progression—we want you to come in, make a massive impact, and map out a clear senior opportunity for yourself within the wider business. We constantly Innovate & Progress so we can inspire excellence and smash our targets together.
What We Offer You
Think You've Got the Right Mindset?
We are not looking for "perfect" CVs, we are looking for resilient leaders with a brilliantly positive attitude. If you possess an autonomous mindset, have the drive to manage a fast-paced region impartially, and love coaching a legacy team through fresh ideas, we want to hear from you.
Bring your personality, your drive, and your ambition. Hit apply, tell us why you love the reality of a regional people function, and let's see if our energies align.
Village Hotels is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and age groups, and we are committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout our recruitment process and within the role where needed.
