Overview:
The Spa & Recreation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the spa and recreation facilities, ensuring a high standard of guest experience, and promoting health, relaxation, and wellness services. This role includes supervising staff, maintaining the facilities, coordinating activities, and implementing programs to enhance guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the spa and recreation areas, including scheduling staff and managing resources.
- Ensure all spa and recreational services are delivered to the highest standards, meeting guest expectations.
- Oversee the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the facilities and equipment, addressing maintenance needs promptly.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, ensuring excellent service and adherence to company policies.
- Develop and promote wellness and recreational programs to attract and engage guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels of spa products, supplies, and equipment, and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Assist in marketing and promoting spa and recreation services, including creating special packages and seasonal offers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all areas of the spa and recreation facilities.
- Maintain accurate records, including guest preferences, bookings, and financial transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Health & Wellness, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in spa and/or recreational management, with a track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of spa therapies, fitness programs, and wellness trends.
- Familiarity with spa management software and booking systems.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and first-aid certification is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
