Description
ROLE TITLE: FOH Team Member

ROLE PURPOSE
The FOH Team Member works as part of a team in a multi skilled environment. S(he) plays a pivotal role within Wasabi by ensuring our customers receive amazing customer service that wows every time. S(he) ensures our food is packaged and displayed to the highest possible standards, whilst complying with all quality checks and food safety control measures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
• Deliver customer service that wows every time by following the Steps of Service
• Confidently answer queries regarding our products
• Handle minor customer complaints following our brand standard guidelines
• Adapt service style and delivery based on the customer’s needs
• Keep up to date on the latest Wasabi Way and areas in service that need improving
• Demonstrate teamwork by completing various tasks to deliver a great customer experience
• Read the deployment planner daily
• Keep up to date with marketing, menu, ingredient updates and changes in standards
Food Packaging and Display
• Pack and display food items following the brand standard guidelines
• Operate equipment following the brand standard guidelines
• Setup workstations following the brand standard guidelines
• Open, store and label food correctly following all Wasabi Standards
• Report to the Manager/Team Leader ingredients that do not meet quality standards
• Contribute to the “store open” by setting up relevant equipment and workstations following brand standard guidelines



Cash Handling
• Handle till transactions swiftly
• Process cash transactions accurately and provide customers with accurate change
• Apply marketing discounts in line with terms and conditions
• Inform Manager/Team Leader of any errors in processing till transactions
• Follow all cash handling policies and procedures
Cleanliness
• Clean workstations adhering to all Health & Food Safety Standards
• Dismantle and clean food production equipment following the brand standard guidelines
• Complete cleaning tasks in the cleaning schedule as directed by the Manager/Team Leader following all Health & Food Safety Standards
Health & Food Safety
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and standards.
• Adhere to all Food Safety policies and standards.
• Adhere to all uniform standards in line with company policy
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment in line with Health & Safety Policies
• Operate equipment in line with training and Health & Safety standards
• Check food and display temperatures; complete Food Safety paperwork in line with the Food Safety Policy
• Clean food preparation areas using the 2-stage cleaning method (was and sanitize) following Health & Safety Standards
• Serve food that adheres to standards outlines in the Food Safety Policy
