Finance & Business Intelligence Manager, WatchHouse.

In short: We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance & Business Intelligence Manager to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role supporting financial decision-making across the business, combining strong analytical capabilities with solid commercial acumen. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for providing the business with actionable insights and understandable financial information.

Directly reports in to (Line Manager): Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own operational dashboards using Power BI, Tenzo, or similar tools

  • Champion the use of data and insight in business decision-making, helping to develop a data-informed culture

  • Take ownership of data warehousing and integration throughout the business

  • In collaboration with the Commercial team, undertake price benchmarking research and recommend pricing changes

  • Produce reports on new product launches to identify successes and learning points

  • Provide financial oversight and insight into franchisee performance, including reviewing management accounts and KPIs

  • Proactively identify and articulate opportunities for the business

  • Respond to ad hoc analysis and information requests from stakeholders across the business

  • Support the Finance team with the production of short-term cash flow forecasts, budgeting, and the long-term financial model

The role in more detail:

The Finance & Business Intelligence Manager will act as a bridge between finance, operations, and strategy, providing both day-to-day financial support and long-term planning tools. You will lead efforts to consolidate and visualise data across systems, producing real-time dashboards and detailed reports to inform decisions at all levels of the business. You will take full ownership of the budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment across departments and financial rigour in planning. Through close collaboration with the Finance Director and other stakeholders, you’ll ensure we maintain robust financial oversight—particularly in franchise operations. This role will be key in supporting our ambition to create a culture where data is valued and understood as a critical business asset.

Key to this role:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA part or fully qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience with strong technical competence.

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Tenzo.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders in a clear, compelling way.

  • Prior experience with SQL databases is highly desirable, alongside a basic understanding of APIs and data flows between systems.

  • Prior experience in the hospitality sector or franchise models is highly desirable.

  • Proactive, collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

  • Live and breathe the WatchHouse core values – passion, empathy, can do and diligence.

Working at WatchHouse.

WatchHouse was born from a passion to do better—with diligence, detail, and a relentless pursuit of excellence at our core. We’re a people-first business that celebrates individuality and places respect, inclusion, and equality at the heart of everything we do. We believe in hiring the right person for the role, valuing personality and potential as much as skills and experience. As a team, we lead with empathy, communicate openly, collaborate effectively, and support one another to succeed. We hold ourselves to high standards, sharing in each other’s successes while staying mindful, kind, and committed to progress. Our four core values—passion, can do, diligence, and empathy—guide every decision we make and shape the culture we’re proud to build together.
