WatchHouse is an industry leading group of specialty coffee houses across London, with a flagship house in the heart of the Cotswolds - Bath. Baristas in WatchHouse are one of the most integral roles to our success. You will be working on the latest equipment, serving the highest quality single origin beans, and working with some of the most knowledgeable coffee brains in the industry. We provide the best customer service, serve the best coffee and work within the most beautiful spaces in London; to create our vision of the Modern Coffee Experience. 

We are looking for skilled and experienced baristas to join our team at WatchHouse Hanover. This is one of our busiest Espresso Houses with a huge customer base ranging from regulars to tourists, to those who have travelled specifically to try our incredible coffee offering. This role requires at least 1 year of experience in a busy specialty coffee environment and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is the perfect role for someone wanting to take the next step in their coffee career.

Key Aspects of the role:

  • You’ll work as part of your House team, encourage and create a vibrant, exciting and sociable place of work. You will be expected to work with coffee and food reflecting the diverse offering of our business and supporting your House team when required.

  • Demonstrate unparalleled hospitality by delighting regular customers and creating a warm, positive and welcoming atmosphere in the café.

  • All of our sites are unique, as a Barista you’ll be based at one of the specific sites and work anytime from 6am to 10pm. Training will be provided for this role.  You’ll be an integral member of a highly skilled and high-performance team that can cope with the pressures and demands of a busy city centre café.

  • Duties include the opening and closing of the site. Helping to keep the cafe looking sharp, clean, tidy and organised. Attention to detail is key.

  • Maintaining brand standards at high volume production by following and adapting recipes to ensure consistency of high quality beverages. Dialling in and producing the best product we possibly can.


We are looking for someone with:


  • Previous coffee experience within a fast paced specialty coffee environment.

  • Proven track records in hospitality, punctual, adaptable and a hard worker.

  • A great team player and someone who can work alongside a brilliant barista team.
