Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience and to be discussed at interview)

Hours: 40 hours (Full Time), including weekends and bank holidays.

No on site accommodation, Must have driving license & access to a car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in food preparation, hygiene practices, and knife skills.
  • Waste Control: Monitor portion sizes and waste to maintain profitability.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock control and ordering processes.
  • Hygiene Standards: Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop creative menus.
  • Team Leadership: Take an active role in delivering excellent kitchen standards and leading the team by example.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Passion: A strong passion for cooking and creating great food.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in professional cookery (desirable).
