We are currently looking for a Head Chef to join our Kitchen Brigade at the Whitcomb’s Restaurant in our flagship hotel – The Londoner.
Overview:
An amazing opportunity to join the kitchen team at The Londoner as Whitcomb’s Head Chef.
In this role of Head Chef, you will be assisting the Executive Head Chef by ensuring the smooth running of the main kitchen’s food operation.
You will be responsible for directing the brigade to ensure a high level of food is executed for the Whitcomb’s Restaurant
You will support the Executive Head Chef and Executive Senior Sous Chef on a daily basis to ensure a high level of cuisine is delivered at all times, maintaining a control on GP and labour costs.
You will coach, develop and mentor the junior chefs in the brigade ensuring they reach their potential.
You will implement and develop food strategies to improve our culinary offering where necessary.
About you:
Current Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience within a large hotel operation of 4 or 5 star standards.
Capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership, coaching and change management with a strategic approach.
The ability to manage and achieve budgetary goals by analysing historical data, forecasts and revenues.
Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.
Able to provide training and development opportunities to all levels within the kitchen brigade ensuring continuous development of the team as a whole.
