Job description

The White Hart is a pub and hotel offering 37 bedrooms, fine food and real ales. Close to Twickenham stadium, it's at its busiest on rugby match days - and when locals pour in for Sunday lunch.

What can we offer you?

  • 25% staff discount off food and drink, across all our pubs and hotels for you and your friends and family. Increasing to 30% after 1 year, 35% after 3 years and 40% after 5 years.
  • A fair share of tips, paid on top of your hourly pay - paid on a weekly basis.
  • Discounted hotel stays
  • Access to ‘My Fuller’s’ – our online benefits platform where you can make savings at 100’s of retailers and access discounted gym memberships, cinema tickets and much more!
  • Healthcare Cash Plan – after 1 year with us you will have access to a 24-hour GP service and the ability to claim your money back for dentist and eyecare appointments for example.
  • Full induction and training
  • The opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
  • The option to receive up to 35% of your earnings as you earn them with Wagestream. This means you won’t always need to wait until payday.

Could you leave guests with a positive impression?

As a receptionist on our front desk, you play the most important role in the hotel. You create the first impression when a guest arrives – and you’re the final memory they take with them when they leave.

You’re right at the very heart of the action, with the power to make a real difference to people’s day.

With a number of check-ins often happening around the same time, reception work can be busy – but it’s extremely rewarding, and things are certainly never dull. You’ll be dealing with all kinds of enquiries, and you’ll learn a lot about life in the hospitality industry.

Experience with IT systems would be helpful, but at Fuller’s, personality and people-skills are more important than your previous positions.

You’ll need to be versatile and resourceful, and you’ll have an engaging, friendly personality and able to leave a lasting, positive impression on every guest that comes through the door.
