Lifestyles and Activities Manager:

We are a growing Care Home provider who deliver high quality, kind and compassionate care. For our residents, joining one of our Homes is like joining our family - and we make that no different for our new colleagues. If you are an experienced Activities Manager with a fun, outgoing approach, then we would love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

• Planning and delivering meaningful activities whilst being aware of the residents' interests as well as their physical and cognitive abilities.
• Encourage active participation in activities.
• Coordinate tasks within the Activities Team.
• Ensure there is variety in the programme of daily events.
• Working closely with care staff and family members in getting to know the residents, their interests, their experience and life stories.
• Share the best practice and encourage all staff members to take active interest in providing activities for our residents.

What you need to succeed: 

• Creative with a range of practical skills like arts & crafts.
• Able to motivate and engage with people.
• Able to create an environment that encourages participation and involvement.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication skills.
