Description
About this role...
You’ll work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and wider team to oversee the day-to-day running of the bars, from planning through to delivery, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role, along with ongoing support from a dedicated management team.
What we're looking for…
- The ability to look ahead at upcoming bookings and ensure the stockholding levels and team can cater for demand
- Overseeing monthly stocktakes and managing all bar related equipment requirements
- Monitoring cleanliness standards in line with company policy
- Managing bar till systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date
- Deputising for Food & Beverage Head of Departments in their absence
- Enthusiasm for getting stuck in and supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service
- The ability to upsell and motivate team members into doing this
- Excellent communication to all customers, team members and departments
- The ability to delegate tasks and supervise team members, as well as deliver relevant training
- The ability to complete tasks efficiently and to given deadlines
- The confidence to oversee the running of the venue as Duty Manager
