? We're Hiring: Pub Managers (All Levels) – Join Our Bristol Team! ?
Locations: The Crown, The Mothers Ruin, The Colosseum, The Greyhound – Bristol
Roles Available:
General Manager
Assistant Manager
Duty Manager
We’re an independent pub group with a strong presence in Bristol, operating four unique and much-loved venues. Each site brings something different to the city’s nightlife and hospitality scene – from live music and late-night energy to community events and chilled-out afternoons.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the management team, you’ll be one of the key people keeping our venues buzzing – leading the team, delivering great service, and helping shape each site as both a much-loved local and a vital part of Bristol’s cultural life.
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities could include:
Running day-to-day operations: Overseeing smooth service at the bar and in the kitchen, coordinating the team, and ensuring the venue runs efficiently – often during late nights and busy weekends.
Team leadership: Supporting, training, and motivating a close-knit team of bar and floor staff to maintain high standards and a welcoming vibe.
Customer experience: Being a visible, approachable presence on the floor, helping to create a friendly, safe, and inclusive environment.
Stock and supplier management: Managing orders, deliveries, stock rotation, and inventory systems to keep things moving behind the scenes.
Health & safety and compliance: Ensuring licensing, safety, and hygiene standards are met, and working with door teams to support safe nightlife.
Admin and communication: From rota planning and weekly reporting to liaising with ownership and the wider team, you’ll help keep the wheels turning.
This is a hands-on role – we’re looking for people who enjoy the buzz of a busy shift and take pride in the details that make a place feel great.
We want people who share our passion for pubs, people, and music.
Hospitality leadership experience – whether as a GM, assistant, or supervisor, ideally with some experience leading shifts
Great people skills – confident working with staff, customers, artists, and promoters
A calm, can-do attitude – able to handle a busy night and solve problems on the fly
A collaborative mindset – willing to get stuck in with everything from pulling pints to shifting stock and running events
An eye for detail – you care about clean lines, great lighting, good sound, and warm welcomes
A love of music and nightlife – you don’t have to be a scene veteran, but you’ll enjoy working in venues that regularly host events
Ambition and curiosity – we value people who want to grow with us and bring ideas to the table
A structured monthly bonus scheme and shared tips
28 days holiday per year
Staff discount on food and drinks
Rotating advanced schedules to support work-life balance
Free entry to events at all our venues
Opportunities for career development within our independent group
Send us your CV and a short cover note telling us a bit about you, your experience, and the kind of role you’re looking for. Whether you're ready to run a site or looking to step up into your first management role, there's room for you to grow here.
