Description
We are hiring Managers and Managers in Training for our VENICE Location

Shift managers at Wurstküche open and close the store and execute day-today operations. They enforce company policies on scheduled shifts and inspire BOH and FOH teams to maximize efficiency and excellence! 50% of time is spent on the floor, 30% training and mentoring and 20% of time is spent completing administrative tasks. Beyond the day to day, Wurstküche managers are very hands on with their team and assist in every area that is needed.

We routinely host education classes: bar class, beer class, leadership class for our hourly team and are very involved with our surrounding community!

The perfect candidate for us is beaming with energy and sees hospitality as their life-long career! They would not mind late hours, have flexibility with their schedule, have strong communication, organization and administrative skills along with a very high sense of integrity and responsibility.

We are looking for candidates who possess passionate commitment and exude a motivating confidence and presence.
Essential culture and operations training for all of our newly onboarded managers' success is provided.


Wurstküche's manager responsibilities are and not limited to:
Using our communication platforms to report on daily happenings
Close/Open the store and organize and prepare the restaurant for daily operations
Coordinate and execute basic maintenance, repair and cleaning projects
Issue disciplinary action as necessary
Participate in daily staff meetings and weekly manager meetings
Manage staff, clearly communicate daily expectations and train
Order and maintain good relationships with all our vendors
Prepare and adjust daily and weekly reports


Wurstkuche's manager qualifications are and not limited to:
Minimum 1 year as a manager, shift lead, lead bartender in a full service or counter service restaurant - anything outside of this would not be considered
Track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking
Must be able to work 8-10hr + shifts of standing, walking
Able to work closing shifts up to 3am as needed
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
Effective experience as a trainer
Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, carry, lift 50 lbs
Certified Food Handling Certificate, STAR Alcohol Trained, Sexual Harassment Certificate preferred and highly knowledgeable in the Food and Beer industry
