We are looking for servers to join our team as we get ready to open our patio.

The server is responsible for representing Yasemi with the highest level of service and professionalism while selling and serving an upscale dining experience.

Our servers work closely with the rest of the staff, both FOH and BOH, to ensure product quality and a thorough understanding of our food and beverage menus, along with inspiration and history in order to tell our story to our guests. • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service, elevated/fine dining restaurant setting
• Possess extensive food and beverage knowledge in order to accurately make suggestions for guests
• Have a thorough understanding of allergies on our menus and what modifications can be accommodated for guests.
• Create a warm and friendly environment for our guests and fellow employees. 
• Possess a teamwork mindset.

• Able to use Toast POS system to process orders and bill.
• Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station, the tables and restaurant before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked.
• Wine and spirits knowledge to help pair beverages for guests

• Must have the ability to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts 9 (we are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of up to 8 hours or more
• Must have State of Illinois Basset Certification & Food Handlers Certification
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to serve alcohol in the city of Chicago
