Summer 2021 Food Runner

Yellowstone Club’s Food & Beverage (F&B) department is currently seeking candidates for Food Runner. The F&B department is offering a $1000.00 signing bonus. $250 will be paid out after 30 days and $750 at the end of the season. On average Food Runners make $17.50-$19.00 per hour with service charges.

Responsibilities Include:  

·         Support the Servers by aiding in delivering food to Members and guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner

·         Know the ingredient details of every dish on the menu

·         Deliver food in an efficient manner

·         Communicate clearly with the front of house and kitchen staff

·         Assist in serving orders to Members and guests

·         Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table

·         Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation

·         Answer questions pertaining to the restaurant menus

·         Work in collaboration with other teammates to meet Member and guest expectations

·         Maintain a clean, organized dining area and work station

·         Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership

Position Requirements:

·         Minimum 6 months of food runner experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury resort, or private club setting

·          Able to communicate effectively and speak/write English clearly/legibly

·         Occasionally required to talk and/or hear

·         Frequently lift up to 30 pounds

·         Use hands/fingers to handle/lift items

·         Constantly required to stand/walk/climb or balance

·         Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands/arms

·         Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

·         Must pass pre-employment background check, paid for by the employer, which is carried out equally among U.S. workers and H-2B workers.

The position offered is a seasonal, full-time position located in Big Sky, MT.
