Houseman/Audio Visual Supervisor


Description

Yellowstone Club’s Special Events department is currently seeking candidates for a Houseman/Audio Visual Supervisor.


Responsibilities Include:  

  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our Members at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team members, Members, and guests at all times.  In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Assistant General Manager or Human Resources immediately
  • Set up and test requested audio visual equipment as stated on the event BEO
  • Keep AV equipment and supplies neat, organized and in proper working order
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or issues related to computer software and systems
  • Train or instruct users in the proper use of hardware or software
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements
  • Ability to read and understand a BEO and execute the services requested
  • Prepare coffee breaks, carts and stations with appropriate supplies
  • Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service
  • Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen
  • Ensure courses are properly cleared and crumbed in a timely fashion
  • Manage the presentation of tableware so that it is accessible for the guests
  • May be scheduled to help serve/bartend events
  • Supervisor of the housemen
  • Supervise the set- up and break down of events including
  • Tables and chairs
  • Buffet set ups
  • Mobile bars
  • Any additional equipment that may be needed

The position offered is a full-time, seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
