We’re looking for fun, energetic and reliable people to join the kitchen team at YES Manchester, working across our late-night food concepts Pepperoni Playboy and Trippy Chippy.

This isn’t your standard chef job.

We’re a busy live music venue in the heart of Manchester, serving pizza by the slice and loaded fries to people heading to gigs, club nights and events.

And because the food is served directly from the bar, our chefs aren’t hidden away in a kitchen – you’re right in the middle of the venue, cooking and serving our guests.

We’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable chatting to customers as they are smashing out food during a busy service.

THE FOOD

? Pepperoni Playboy – big slices of freshly made pizza, served fast.

? Trippy Chippy – crispy fries served with a range of sauces and toppings.

It’s simple food done really well, in a fast-paced environment where speed, consistency, cleanliness and personality all matter.

 THE ROLE

 This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, with shifts across the week including evenings, weekends and late nights.
 You’ll be involved in:

- Preparing and cooking our pizzas and fries

- Serving guests directly from the bar

- Keeping service fast, friendly and consistent

- Preparing for busy gigs, club nights and events

- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards

- Keeping your section stocked, organised and ready for service

- Working closely with the wider bar, kitchen and venue team

- Bringing some energy and personality to the job!

When a gig finishes and hundreds of people suddenly decide they want a slice of pizza or some fries, things can get seriously busy – so we need people who enjoy that kind of environment.

Previous kitchen, pizza or fryer experience would definitely be useful, but attitude, personality and reliability are just as important to us.
