We are currently on the lookout for a Financial Controller, to join the crew. You will report to the General Manager and Head of Finance and will hold an accounting qualification with experience working in hospitality.
What will you do
· Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation accurately.
· Train new employees and managers (when necessary) on the hotels policies and procedures.
· Support nominated departments at month end with accrual checks and processing, P&L corrections, information requests and any other support, as assigned by Head of Finance or Business Partners.
· Communicate with all departmental managers and employees in a professional and supportive manner.
· Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions in a timely manner.
· Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets and credit card transactions.
· Support the wider finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
· Assist the office with general day to day guest & internal queries.
· Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, as required.
· Assist in the preparation of financial audits and compliance reviews.
· Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and resolve any discrepancies.
· Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by the wider management team.
