About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi property Sales Manager to join our European Sales team as Cluster Director of Sales.

This role will support the Director of Sales Effectiveness, the Director of Global Sales (Key Accounts) as well as the General Managers on property.

Key Responsibilities

·         Drive revenue across key segments: Corporate transient (local and negotiated), Groups (business and leisure) and MICE.

·         Own and deliver the managed segment budget for assigned hotels.

·         Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, contracting, and account management.

·         Develop and execute the hotel sales strategy to achieve targets across all managed segments. This includes corporate rate strategy,       managing WWW & RFP processes, and implementing proactive sales plans.

·         Deliver on-property sales activity, including show rounds, client events and FAM trips, while promoting a strong sales culture across FOH teams in line with the brand sales incentive scheme.

·         Represent the YOTEL brand at industry events, trade shows and client engagements.

·         Build and maintain a strong new business pipeline, while nurturing repeat business within managed segments.

·         Manage and grow key negotiated accounts to drive incremental revenue.

·         Partner with on-property reservations teams to implement and maintain group brand guidelines and standards.

·         Be accountable for room nights, ADR and revenue performance across group and negotiated segments.

·         Develop relationships with membership and networking organisations to generate new business and strengthen industry partnerships.

·         Support the annual sales budgeting process, ensuring clear strategies to achieve segment targets.

·         Monitor market trends and performance, identifying opportunities to grow and protect market share.

What We’re Looking For

·         Multi-property hotel sales experience across corporate, group and MICE segments.

·         Strong understanding of corporate transient, leisure groups, MICE and travel agency partnerships.

·         Experience with sales systems, PMS and sourcing tools; knowledge of Duetto, Optimizer, Delphi, Opera V5 and Lanyon is advantageous.

·         Proven ability to develop and deliver successful segment sales strategies.

·         Results-driven sales professional with a strong focus on revenue and profitability.

·         Experience with lifestyle hotel brands is a plus.

·         A confident and creative thinker, able to translate complex strategies into compelling commercial opportunities.

·         Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the business.
