We are looking for a talented operations manager to join our team at Yotel Manchester

The Role:

We're seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily operations, ensure an exceptional guest experience, and drive performance across all operating departments. Reporting directly to the general manager you will work with other HOD’s to ensure the business is being driven to its full potential. You will deputise for the General Manager in their absence and have full ownership and accountability for all operational areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and direct the hotel operations including quality, standards & guest satisfaction.
• Work alongside all HODs to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations, monitoring business levels and managing budgeted departmental costs.
• To oversee all departments ensuring that revenue/profit budgets are achieved and food and beverage menu composition and pricing comply with company expectations.
• Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.

·        Ensuring adherence to all current legislation regarding Health & Safety, Food Safety and employment law.

·        Driving standards of operation within the Hotel ensuring successful leadership, training and development for managers and supervisors.

·        Driving the commercial success of the business with the support of the commercial team.

·        Create, implement & maintain all operational policies and procedures with department heads.

·        Deputising for the GM in their absence

What We’re Looking For:

·        Previous experience in a similar role.

·        Hospitality experience in a similar property

·        A passion for hospitality and a drive to grow and develop yourself and your team.

·        Fantastic communication skills.

·        Strong commercial acumen.

·        Experience of effective project management
