Description
Zinc Cafe & Market is looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and responsible candidates to join our team. The team members at Zinc Cafe & Market love to work with each other. Our teams are customer service oriented, able to multitask and have a great attitude. We engage in our customers lives to develop a repertoire within our communities. Prior experience within a high-volume restaurant & barista skills are expected but not required.

Each of our locations offer multiple departments & positions; market attendants, baristas, bussers, dishwashers, prep cooks, line cooks and management. Our LA location specifically offers these additional positions; hosts, runners, servers & bartenders.

Hours of operation differ between each Zinc location. Applicants are expected to have open/flexible availability.
Responsibilities
In addition to modeling Zinc’s culture and values and following policies and procedures, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Delivers Engaging Customer Service
Welcomes customers to store, engaging with them throughout their store experience.
Determines customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge.
Demonstrates that customers come first by serving them with a sense of urgency.

Delivers Operational Excellence
Provides consistent drink quality according to Zinc guidelines and customer requests.
Participates actively in training to learn new and promotional products. Continually works to expand product knowledge.
Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all food products and drinks.
Follows cash handling policies and procedures.
Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.

Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will:
Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service, with a customer-first mentality.
Exhibit a strong focus on quality with an interest in learning more about Zinc.
Be extremely reliable and punctual.
Enjoy working in a team-environment and building great relationships with their coworkers.
Be able to work quickly, embrace and learn new information, multi-task and incorporate feedback into personal performance.
Have the ability to perform various physical tasks during the work shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Walking and standing for long periods of time.
