Market Attendant

Job Summary:
The Market Attendant position is to provide a memorable customer experience by providing prompt service, create & serve quality beverages and products. The Market Attendant shows genuine compassion for our guests as you are the “face” of Zinc.

Responsibilities:
 Greets, welcomes and connects with every customer
 Provide friendly and personable service.
 Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all food products and drinks.
 Prepare drinks in accordance with Zinc guidelines and customer requests.
 Follows all company policies and procedures.
 Performs cleaning tasks in accordance to cleanliness and safety standards.
 Works well in a team environment.
 When working the register - follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies.
 Maintain a positive morale and professional attitude.
 Handle food and hot beverages.
 Communicate with BOH to insure all orders and requests are filled.
 Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen.
 Monitor food items and restock as necessary to maintain inventory.
 Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
 Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers.

Qualifications:
 No prior experience needed, open minded attitude willingness to learn.


Work Context:
 Walking and standing for long periods of time
 Working with hot foods and beverages
