Job Purpose
- The Sales &
Event Manager will have overall responsibility for attracting in-house events.
- Creating and
implementing an action plan for increasing revenue and maximizing cover
Role- Manage the day-to-day operations and activities, customer requests, queries/complaints within 24hrs
- communicating feedback or trends occurring within the business
- Attract the desire company`s clientele profile and offer them
a unique experience
- Maximise all Meeting & Events Sales revenue opportunities
through up selling of function items.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Executes a wide range of small-scale and more complex
proprietary, hosted and third-party events.
- Accurate administration and control of all Meetings and
Events related reservations and blocks.
- Build strong relationships with customers,
- Ensure all information is relayed to the Chef and Operations
Team in a timely manner to ensure they can order and roster effectively.
- Accuracy with business packages development and capability to
accommodate this to the right customers.
- To keep
a clear and user-friendly organised filing system of guests’ details, meeting General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR) for all future and past events
- To
ensure daily upkeep of the complaints matrix and regularly provide analysis of
all feedback received to the business, delivered to the General Manager
- To make sure the restaurant reaches or exceeds it potential through
constant maximisation of the number of covers.
- To exploit the potential of the database, external networks and all
relevant fields to source new clientele, as well as to gain further guest
information, aiding delivery of guest recognition and return business.
- Take deposit payments using our in-house payments
system.
Profile
- You will have a genuine sales drive attitude and be able to
spot the right business opportunity.
- Minimum of 3 years’
experience in similar background within a high volume organization.
- Demonstrable skills
in teamwork and communication
- To be
self-motivated with the ability to work independently with drive and
dedication, and with keen interest in sourcing
- new revenue streams and
promoting the brand.
- A proven track
record history of executing and attracting high profile.
- A passion for
hospitality and delivering extraordinary experiences.
